Think i found the biggest AoE Damage fire build
If anyone has any feedback in order to make this build better or even just to offer your thoughts, feel free. Im always open to suggestions.
First off this is the build i have ran for over a year now and i think it is very nicely balanced as far as damage output, energy management, and health management
----Fire magic = 12+1+3, Energy Storage = 9+1, Earth Prayers = 8----
[Elemental Attunement][Fire Attunement][Flame Djinns Haste][Mystic regeneration][glowing gaze][Incendiary Bonds][rodgorts invocation][meteor shower]
Recently after playing ursan i discovered i can put arcane mimicry in my build and run 2 elite builds at once. (Ursan and Dual attune Nuke) Which works great for the UW btw. So i have developed a new favoirte build. Build(s) actually i can swap out for 3 skills depending on where im going. And the set up really shows its fire power with a fire ele on the team with [Searing Flames]
MY BUILD ----Fire Magic = 12+1+3, Energy Storage = 12+1----
[Elemental Attunement][Fire Attunement][GoEP][Arcane Mimicry][Incendiary Bonds][smoldering embers][rodgorts invocation][meteor shower]
HERO BUILD ----Fire magic = 12+1+3, Energy Storage = 8+1, Water magic = 9+1----
[Searing flames][GOLE][Fire attunement][Steam][Mark of rodgort][Liquid flame][Glowing gaze][rebirth]
Now this build does very decent AoE spike damage all by itself, but when i mimic Vekk's [Searing flames] it bumps it up to a whole new level. I am able to spam [searing flames] with almost no energy loss! This build does over 900 damage in 20 seconds.. So that gave me another idea what if i were to throw [arcane echo] in the mix?
MY NEW BUILD ----Fire Magic = 12+1+3, Energy Storage = 12+1----
[Elemental Attunement][Fire Attunement][GoEP][Arcane Mimicry][Arcane echo][Incendiary Bonds][rodgorts invocation][meteor shower]
HERO BUILD ----Fire magic = 12+1+3, Energy Storage = 8+1, Water magic = 9+1----
[Searing flames][GOLE][Fire attunement][Steam][Mark of rodgort][Liquid flame][Glowing gaze][rebirth]
All i can say is HOLY FUXXING CRAP!! rapid fire [searing flames] FTW.... now im doing about 1900 damage in 20 seconds. I have yet to find a mob that can last that long.
BTW this is what the finished product looks like
[Elemental Attunement][Fire Attunement][GoEP][searing flames][searing flames][Incendiary Bonds][rodgorts invocation][meteor shower]
I think i have the main build down, but the hero build i just kinds threw together. As long as it has [searing flames] in it then im happy but i welcome any suggestions, especially for hero. I could just use wiki builds, but although wiki builds are good, I like to think outside the box.<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
Id like to thank rebirthofdragon He gave me the best advice towards the final product
Well i tested and modified and took all your suggestions into account... Here is what i came up with...
[arcane mimicry][fire attunement][mindbender][glyph of swiftness][searing flames][arcane echo][glowing gaze][meteor shower]
and here is zhed who is my water ele who has 40/40 water magic wand and offhand
[elemental attunement][water attunement][aura of restoration][mystic regeneration][steam][freezing gust][ice spikes][deep freeze]
i so far was very suprised at how fast i could kill mobs. before this build i used to be able to watch enemies die, but now it seems i glance down at my skill bar while im spamming SF and when i look up the mob is gone. so far i vanquished 3 areas near bone palace with that build and i am pretty satisfied. BTW [meteor shower] + [deep freeze] makes a sick snare
My team consisted of :
ME (SF spammage) [elemental attunement][fire attunement][mindbender][glyph of swiftness][searing flames][searing flames][glowing gaze][meteor shower]
ZHed (Ele attunement host/snare) [elemental attunement][water attunement][aura of restoration][mystic regeneration][steam][freezing gust][ice spikes][deep freeze]
Livia (N/Rt healer) [weapon of remedy][spirit light][protective was kaolai][life][mend body and soul][signet of lost souls][soothing memories][flesh of my flesh]
Whispers (SS) [spiteful spirit][arcane echo][defile enchantments][enfeebling blood][ulcerous lungs][suffering][signet of lost souls][well of darkness]
Healer hench
Healer hench
Motivation Hench
Derv hench.
I was thinking of swapping out [Spiteful Spirit] Whispers for [visions of regret] Gwen
I welcome any advice.

|
Thanks demon. finally some input that includes at least some thought.
As you can see, the only skill in any of those builds that cause scatter is Meteor shower, but that usually knocks them down before they can run away.
With those 2 builds i only need the one ele hero on the team. all else can consist of heaing, support, mez shutdown, mm or even SS whatever floats your boat.
My fav team
ME: using mimic nuke
Vekk: using SF Host
Livia: N/Rt healer
Olias: MM
Healer hench
prot hench
Wildcard Hench
Wildcard Hench
BTW I achieved Guardian of Tyra, Guardian of Elona, R8 LB, and R10 SS using my dual attunement build with the [mystic regen] so try not to dog my builds too much, because they are effective.

i dont claim to be a genius by far. all i want is feedback on my builds.
Since you apparently have the ability to recognize who is a genius and who is not, could you please share your infinite wisdom with me and maybe offer a suggestion to make the build better. Or even since the build just seems mediocre in your eyes, how about a whole new revamped build you may know that can do more than 2,000 AoE damage in 20 seconds.
And sorry if i sound like a smartazz but i get tired of people's negative opinions without at least backing them up with logic or reasoning.
I dont mind negative opinions at all but plz offer at least a tiny bit of reasoning.

The whole arcane mimicry to get dual attunes + SF was done ages ago.
It's better to mimicry Ele Attune btw as you get more % uptime.

I actually thought about mimicing Ele attune instead but i end up with about 20 seconds of time where i cant cast anything without losing energy because arcane mimic has a 60 second recharge time. I prefer to keep ele attune on the build so when mimic is recharging i can continue to spam the rest of my fire spells. that way there is zero downtime

Daze, obsidian was right when he said that you're no genius or anything. You say that you never claimed you were a genius but re-check your title.. it says "Think I found the biggest AoE damage fire build". By the sound of it you are trying to sound like a genius because YOU were the only one that could find this large damage AoE damage fire build.
Anyhoo...its interesting... might try it sometime...when I make an ele...and yeah this isn't really going anywhere.

you can always remove incendiary bonds or rodgort's invocation and add [Mindbender] and propably [Glyph of Swiftness] (to use before mindbender and arc mimic)

Take Glyph of Lesser Energy and Glowing Gaze and just pace yourself in the 20s? Having to pace yourself for 20s and having a dual attuned SF for the other sixty beats having dual attunes permanently but SF for only 20s out of 80.

what is the word right before "I"? Thats right it is the word "think" which means "as far as i know"
I really dont want to argue over semantics, but since i have never seen this build anywhere else before as far as i can assume, this is a build i created.
Yes i agree that it is very possible and probable that it has been done before. So freakin what. I stumbled upon it

thanks for the suggestion, but what skills would i kick for [GOLE] and [Glowing Gaze]?
And NND: I do like mindbender. its times like this when i wish GW supported a 10 skill bar. Just think of the endless possibilities. Id just hate to kick any of the firepower

Incendiary bonds and Meteor shower. They're both pretty rubbish skills that don't actually do a lot. Maybe Glyph of elemental power.

Ok, good job you stumbled upon a build that can do damage, but just because you did it doesn't mean you're the next best thing since cheese.
I personally think you were just being a little cocky, but thats just me.
END.
Oh and to be helpful, I think that like the other people say finding something to replace [incendiary bonds] would be a good idea.. the 15 energy cost isn't very cool

thats just my personality, its not meant to be Cocky, just meant to catch your attention, and it did didnt it? Im a salesman so i use "hook" words and phrases.
i do like [incendiary bonds] but with dual attunement, energy cost makes no difference... IB could cost 25 energy and i would still bring it. just because it sets up for good spike damage

1) Use Arcane Mimicry to copy Elemental Attunement. The main problem with a SF hero is that even if you build an entire build around it, he'll still manage to lose energy fast. Sure YOU are doing a lot of damage, but meanwhile you have a dead energy ele who continues to spam skills to no end.
But, stick a dual attunement Rodgort spammer on a ele hero, and it compliments your build nicely.
this also reduces the downtime between AM and your copied skill. Unless Ele attunement is stripped, it will be up for almost the entire time AM is recharging. Basically, look at the enemies you are going up against.
2) This is no new news. In fact, if you look at [ http://gw.gamependium.com/tools/builds/ ], I have made tons of builds using the concept (Yet I do not take credit, it's been around forever.]. It is used a lot to mimic Healer's boon as well for an insane WoH spike on monks.
3)Everyone knows the biggest AoE, PvE, elementalist builds comes from echo spamming [Cry of pain] with [Ether Nightmare]... even though they aren't ele skills :P

[GOEP] is the 3rd skill on the build. I agree, meteor shower is usually the first one i use to sub out but i like it some of the time to pin down mobs and do decent damage.
I also like the results from casting [incEndIary bonds] then [rodgorts invocation] for a nice little 200 point damage mini-spike

Thanks axel. Ill give it a try, but vekk seems to manage energy build nicely with [Glowing gaze] and [GOLE]
AND TO ALL WHO READ THIS... I WOULD LIKE TO APOLOGIZE FOR APPEARING TO TAKE CREDIT FOR THIS BUILD(I HONESTLY DIDN'T KNOW IT WOULD WARRANT THIS MANY CONDESCENDING COMMENTS)
The only reason i worded it like that is to "hook" you into reading my thread and taking time to evaluate the build. ONCE AGAIN IM SORRY.

QQ more.
Seriously, you make a thread gloating about a build you thought was originial, but turns out to be years old.
What do you expect us to say?
